JAMMU, Aug 30: National Secular Forum (NSF) today demanded constitution of High Level panel to inspect all the affiliated private colleges, who were violating the Jammu University statues and initiate strict action against the violators vis-à-vis their disaffiliation.
The activists of NSF led by its senior vice president, Surjit Choudhary today held a protest demonstration, raised slogans against Jammu University administration, for not initiating action against the private colleges violating the JU norms with impunity.
While speaking, Choudhary alleged that affiliated private colleges are running ETT institutions and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) centers in the same building where BEd courses are already being run, without taking permission from the JU.
Among others present were Ravi Choudhary, N Salgotra, Vikram Madyal, Narinder Singh, Sunil Kumar, Puspinder Singh, Naresh and Rishikesh Rana.
