NSF flays JU administration for blocking social networking sites

JAMMU, Dec 31: The National Secular Forum (NSF) has castigated the Jammu University authorities for blocking all the social networking sites without taking stakeholders into the confidence. The NSF also took a dig at the extremely slow internet speed which causes great inconvenience to the students and researchers besides faculty members.
All the social networking sites have been blocked in the campus which is  unjust as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was himself promoting the use of social networking sites to stay connected with the people of his country; said NSF vice-president  Surjit Choudhary while addressing a press conference, here today.
He also took a dig at the extremely slow speed of the internet and Wi-Fi network in the campus and squarely blamed the administration for neglecting this issue because of which students, scholars and researchers were suffering badly as they were not getting enough of the speed to download vital research material from various sites.
