NSF holds protest against BSNL authorities for poor services

JAMMU, Apr 9: The activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) today held strong demonstration against the BSNL for its poor mobile/ internet services in the Jammu city. The protesting NSF activists raised slogans against the Chief General Manager (CGM). They asked the BSNL authorities to improve the mobile and internet services.
Amit Sanotra, NSF, district president led the protesters, categorically asked the BSNL CGM not to test the patience of Jammu people. He said, “The mobile services of BSNL have touched a new low. Sometimes it is poor connectivity that harasses the mobile users and sometime it is the mis-connectivity that irritates people.”
Stressing on the issue, Sanotra mentioned that students of Jammu University in particular are suffering lot because of poor network of BSNL. Even though there has been increase in the bill payments; there is no improvement in the services provided by BSNL, a Government of India undertaking.
He threatened that a massive agitation will be launched if the services are not improved as soon as possible. He also said students in big number will hold demonstration in the BSNL office.
Among those who were present in the protest included Zulfi Singh, Balbinder Singh , Rishikesh Rana, Anees Charak, Vimal Singh, Javed Iqbal, Varun Kumar, Navjot Singh, Sunil Kumar, Ankit Raina , Sanjeev Kumar, and others.
