NSF pays tributes to Swami Vivekanand

JAMMU, July 5: On the death anniversary of Swami Vivekanand, National Secular Forum (NSF) unit of University of Jammu (JU) today organized a programme at Vivekananda Chowk to pay rich tributes to the great Indian saint.
Dr Vikas Sharma was the chief guest and Sukhdev Singh, president NSF, presided over the function. Both paid tributes to Swami Ji by garlanding his portrait.
Speaking on the occasion both Dr Vikas Sharma and Sukhdev Singh threw light on the life and preaching of Swami Vivekanand.
They said Swami Ji’s inspiring personality was well known both in India and in America during the last decade of the 19th century and the first decade of the twentieth.
The whole programme was coordinated by Ajaz Shah, Vikram Madhyal, Amit Sanotra, Varun, Anees Charak, Gopal and others.
