NSF pays tributes to Rabindranath Tagore

JAMMU, Aug 7: National Secular Forum (NSF) today paid tributes to Rabindranath Tagore on his death anniversary.
The activists of NSF along with other university students paid tributes to Rabindranath Tagore and garlanded the portraits of the son of soil, who laid down his life for the sake of the country.
On the occasion, DL Choudhary, Administrator, General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Jammu University, was the chief guest while Ankush Abrol social activist and NC leader was the guest of honour. The function was presided over by Dr Vikas Sharma State president NSF.
Speaking on the occasion Dr DL Choudhary stressed upon the youth to shun their self-centered outlook and contribute in the development of the nation. He also threw light on the achievements of Rabindranath Tagore.
Ankush Abrol in his speech appealed the youth to come forward to eliminate all evils from the society.
While speaking Vikas Sharma said that the sacrifices of such great people could not be ignored, which had secured freedom for the country and its people.
Among others who spoke were Surjit Choudhary State senior vice president, Ravi Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Balveer Kumar, Chiman Singh, N Sangotra, etc.
