JAMMU, Dec 26: National Secular Forum (NSF) here today organized a programme and paid tributes to Shaheed Udham Singh on his birth anniversary.
Amid slogans like ‘long live Udham Singh, Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ etc, NSF activists paid tributes to Udham Singh and garlanded his portrait.
Ankush Abrol, NC leader who is also ex-member BCCI was the chief guest on the occasion while Dr. Vikas Sharma, secretary Central Zone NC presided over the function.
Dr. Sukhdev Singh, president NSF was guest of the honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Ankush Abrol said real tributes to martyrs would be eradicating evil like drug addiction, female feticide and dowry from the society.
He also threw light on life of Udham Singh.
Dr. Vikas Sharma and Dr. Sukhdev also speak on the occasion while Vikshay Vashist, NSF district president delivered welcome address and Sumit Giri delivered vote of thanks.
