NSF pays tributes to Udham Singh on death anniversary

JAMMU, July 31: National Secular Forum (NSF) paid tributes to Saheed Udham Singh on his 84th death anniversary by organizing a simple function at Jammu University Campus.
The NSF activists garlanded a portrait of the son of the soil and recalled supreme sacrifice of Udham Singh for the motherland.
Ankush Abrol, Provincial Joint Secretary, JKNC, was the chief guest on the occasion while Dr Vikas Sharma, Secretary Central Zone and Coordinator Jammu Distt (Urban), J&K National Conference, presided over the function. Dr Sukhdev Singh, State President NSF was the guest of honour while Vikshay Vashist, State Secretary NSF was the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Ankush Abrol and Dr Vikas Sharma threw light on the life and supreme sacrifices of Udham Singh. They said that the real tributes to the martyrs would be to work for eradicating evils prevailing in the society like drug addiction. He exhorted the youth to refrain from drugs and intoxicants.
