JAMMU, Nov 24: Stepping up attack against the administration of Central University of Jammu (CUJ) for its failure to start construction work on the campus, National Secular Forum (NSF) took out a strong protest in the university today to express dissatisfaction over functioning of the CUJ.
The protesters, led by NSF president Sukhdev Singh, raised slogans against the Vice-Chancellor for not taking note of their demands and maintaining stoic silence over the entire matter.
Sukhdev Singh criticized the non-transparent working of Central University and delay in commencing construction work on the campus. Notwithstanding the fact that land has been identified by the Government, the same is not being acquired by the CUJ for the reason best known to the concerned authorities, he alleged.
Among those who took part in the protest, included Barket Ali, Qayoom Malik, Azaj Shah, Vikram Madhyal, Narinder Singh, PP Singh, Rishikesh Rana, Pushpinder Singh, Vicky Thakur, Ankit Sharma and others.
