JAMMU, June 6: National Secular Forum (NSF) today protested against the irregularities in the admission and placement of MBA students of The Business School and appointment of `incompetent’ officers on key positions in the Jammu University administration.
They also raised slogans against the Vice-Chancellor and demanded immediate removal of Director TBS as well as Registrar of the University.
Later, talking to the media persons, NSF vice-president  Sukhdev Singh alleged  that the deserving candidates were ignored during the admission of MBA course on the campus, while favourites and blue-eyed were given preference.  “There are gross irregularities in the admission and placement process. The Director of The Business School should be held directly responsible for it. The scholars who appeared in the viva voice for the fulfilment of the PhD Degree were not interviewed by the concerned expert but from other fields,” he alleged.
The NSF leader also drew attention towards unprecedented delay in declaration of results and rued that instead of penalizing the Controller of Examinations, the Vice-Chancellor rewarded him with top most administrative position.
He demanded removal of the Director TBS as well as new Registrar and said that competent persons should be appointed on these positions to restore credibility of the posts.
Among those who were present in the protest included Akshey Kumar; Qayoom Malik, Ajaz Shah, Sarfaraz Makil, Chiman Singh, Vikram Madhyal, Barket Tahir, Pardeep Sharma, Anees Ahmed,  Pushvinder,  Somdut, Balveer Kumar and others.
