JAMMU, June 18: National Secular Forum (NSF) today protested against Central University authorities for allegedly violating eligibility criteria and recommendations of the University Grants Commission for favouring the blue eyed.
The protesters raised slogans against the CUJ authorities and urged the Chancellor to look into the matter.
Addressing the protesters, Dr.Vikas Sharma alleged that Central University Administration was committing a number of scams and fraud in appointments for various posts in the University and same was repeated in the recent interviews of Assistant Professors. Eligibility criteria were manipulated in such a way that the deserving and highly qualified candidates were dropped out from the interview list, he said and demanded a high- level enquiry into the matter.
