NSF protests against PSC

JAMMU, Dec 15: Continuing protest against J&K Public Service Commission, NSF activists today held a demonstration and torched an effigy of the PSC Chairman.
Protesters, led by Dr Vikas Sharma, State president NSF, were demanding separate PSC for Jammu to permanently end discrimination against the candidates from this region.
Addressing the gathering, Vikas Sharma demanded equal participation to all the regions in PSC recruitment. He alleged that blue eyed candidates were being recruited by the PSC at the instance of State Govt causing resentment among the unemployment youth. He drew attention towards nominal share to Jammu candidates for the post of Assistant Professors, recently released by the PSC and asked the Government to rectify the same.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by Surjit Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Papinder Singh, Neeraj, Reshikesh Rana, Deepak Khajuria, Mohit Singh, Vipul Neeraj, Anshu Sharma, Varun, and others.
