UDHAMPUR, Apr 23: A largely attended meeting of workers and employees of Floriculture Department was held here under the banner of National State Government Employees Federation under the chairmanship of Subash Verma, State general secretary of the Federation.
Various long pending demands and problems of employees were discussed. They are demanding change of designation as per nature of job, regularization of pre and post 1994 engaged daily rate workers, Uniform to gardeners and Malis, withdrawal of GAD Circular No 9, maintaining of seniority list etc.
Prominent among those who addressed included Manzoor Ali, Bansi Lal, Jagdish Raj, Ravinder Singh, Puran Chand, Rattan Singh, Parkash Chand, Sukhdev Singh, Sharief Ahmed, Babu Ram, Kewal Krishan, Sat Pal and Krishan Chand.
