JAMMU, May 31: NSUI has demanded opening of more counters of private banks in the Jammu University premises to facilitate the students and avoid inconvenience to them.
Talking to media persons, here today, NSUI State general secretary, Avijot Singh drew attention towards the problems being faced by students in submitting fee through JK Bank counters on Jammu University campus.
He alleged that the bank was inefficient in handling the rush of students going there for depositing fee etc.
“There are total seven counters for submitting fee but out of them, only four are opened at a time due to which common students have to suffer a lot in such a hot temperature,” he explained and added that the students are forced to stand in long queues for many hours.
The NSUI leader urged the JU authorities to get more private banks open their counters on the campus so that students may not face inconvenience in depositing fees.
