NSUI demands increase in seats of MA Rural Administration

JAMMU, Aug 20: A delegation of NSUI activists today called upon Dr Poonam Dhawan, Director, Department of Life Long Learning Sciences, University of Jammu, and demanded increase in intake capacity in MA Rural Administration.
Leading the delegation, Nitin Bakhshi, NSUI president of JU unit, said that it was a matter of pride that the prestigious course of M A Rural Administration was also being pursued in Jammu University but the intake capacity was very low.
He demanded that the seats under payment category should be increased in the said course so that more and more aspirants could apply from this session.
Giving a patient hearing to the NSUI delegation, Dr Poonam Dhawan said that she would take up the issue with higher university authorities and try her level best to come up with their demand.
Others who were present on the occasion, included Sehdev Jamwal, Aman Thappa, Anshu Mahajan, Rahul Sadotra and Sankalp Gupta.
