JAMMU, June 22: National Students Union of India has lambasted the State Government for its callous attitude towards the Pahari students fraternity.
Addressing a press conference Raqeeq Khan, State vice-president, NSUI said that more than 5 crore rupees which were supposed to be distributed among the Pahari students post matric scholarship have lapsed. He demanded for  immediate enquiry. It is very unfortunate on the part of Government that Pahari Advisory Board is working without Vice-Chairman which is not tolerable.
Tanveer Malik, senior NSUI leader also said that it is first and last warning to the State Government to release the scholarship amount in favour of Pahari Students at an earliest and also initiate enquiry against the State Government officials who are responsible for this type of injustice.
