JAMMU, Dec 19: Demanding online examination for all PG courses, NSUI Jammu and Kashmir held protest against Jammu University here today.
Led by UT President NSUI Sunny Parihar, the NSUI activists and students assembled at Jammu University’s main campus gate and held protest. The protestors raised slogan in favour of their demand and also burnt the effigy of Jammu University administration.
While speaking, Parihar said that students of DDE approached Controller Examination and Director DDE of Jammu University many times for conducting online examination.
Parihar said that Controller of Examination promised earlier that examination will be conducted in online mode for all PG courses but unfortunately University administration back stepped by notifying offline mode of examination.
Sunny Parihar said that the students of Jammu University were not provided any study material and many of the students are from Containment Zones, adding that University administration is ignoring the genuine demand of DDE students.
He appealed to the Chancellor Jammu University and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene and direct Jammu University administration to conduct online examination for DDE students for this particular session and re-conduct the yesterday exam for the interest of students.
Among others present were Nishant Gupta, Sourav Verma, Nipun Gandhi, Manas Gandhi, Garry, Ramandeep, Muskaan, Surinder, etc.
