NSUI organizes convention at Sunderbani

RAJOURI, Oct 14: National Students Union of India (NSUI) organized one-day convention at Sunderbani, in which students from various educational institutions participated.
On the occasion, Iftkhar Ahmed, All India Election Commissioner NSUI and Youth Congress was chief guest, while Sahil Raina, district president NSUI Rajouri was the guest of honour. Imtiaz Khan, district general secretary and Yograj Sharma, general secretary, Block Congress Committee were special guest. The convention was organized under the leadership of Jatinder Singh Chib, district general secretary NSUI Incharge Sunderbani.
Iftkhar Ahmed while addressing the gathering said that Congress is the only party which can work for upliftment of every section of society. He asked the party workers to gear for the forthcoming Assembly and Parliamentary elections.
Ahmed further asked the NSUI activists to propagate the programme and policies of Congress and historic decision taken including Food Security Bill, Land Acquisition Bill, Direct Cash Transfer and MGNREGA.
Sahil Raina said that NSUI will organize such type of students interaction programme in every educational institutions of district.
Yograj Sharma appealed the students of Sunderbani to follow the ideology of Congress party and assured full support on behalf of District Congress Committee.
At last, Jatinder Chib presented vote of thanks.
