Led by Avijot Singh,  NSUI  State general secretary, the protesting NSUI activists assembled outside the main gate of Jammu University and raised slogans against  discriminatory decision of  enhancing duration of B Ed course. They also torched an  effigy of  the State Government.
While addressing the students,  Avijot Singh sought to know  how two universities with  same Chancellor of a State could adopt different policies regarding the same course.
District president NSUI Jammu, Sunny Parihar alleged that  the State government was discriminating with Jammu in every sphere and issue, whether  it is  B Ed course or  AIIMS. He warned that if the decision on enhancing B Ed course duration is not revoked, the NSUI would intensify the agitation.
