NSUI protests against 2- year B Ed course in JU

POONCH, June 30: Claiming that the introduction of 2-year programme for B Ed by Jammu University has caused frustration among the aspirants of the teaching education course, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) unit Poonch protested in front of Government Polytechnic Poonch, here today.
The protesting NSUI activists raised slogan against Jammu University and the coalition Government for introducing discriminate policies in education system.
Sajad Khaki, district president NSUI Poonch, and Naresh Digra, senior NSUI activist, led the protest demonstration and also addressed the students. They asked  how two sister universities of a State with same Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor and the Ministry of Higher Education can adopt different policies regarding the same course.  “Again and again Jammu reason is being discriminated whether it is  the issue of AIIMS or other,” they alleged and  warned an intensified struggle against the discriminatory policies.
Those who participated in the protest, included Naresh Bhargav,  Pardeep Singh, Rahul Jangral, Sadaam Hussain, Abhi Ali Kirmani, Azhar and others.
