JAMMU, Sept 16: National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) delegation led by State President Sunny Parihar submitted memorandum to Controller examination, University of Jammu for conducting online examination for BE odd and even semesters (4th, 5th,6th, and 7th) with immediate effect.
Sunny Parihar told Controller Examination that University of Jammu had not conducted any supplementary exams nor conducted the exams on schedule date due to which the sessions got delayed and many of the students who completed their course for 4 years are still having backlog due to mismanagement and negligence of University Administration.
NSUI leader Sourav Verma along with BE students visited office of Dean Engineering, GCET where he discussed the problems being faced by the students having backlog in their inter mediate semesters . He blamed University of Jammu and Dean Engineering for their failure to conduct exams timely.
Sunny Parihar warned Jammu University’s concerned administration and Dean Engineering to conduct online exams of BE inter mediate so that the students may not suffer anymore otherwise NSUI will protest against the policies of Jammu University.
Others who were present were Samiya ul Assam, Aneesh Kumar, Harshleen Kour, Sayam Sharma, Mayank Mattoo, Riya Gupta, Haroon Rashid, Chandan Sharma and Azmat Rashid.
