JAMMU, Sept 26: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) here today staged Nukad play ‘Mission Poshan’.
The play gave a clear idea and information on Poshan (nourishment) for pregnant women and new born children.
Although our medical science has done many miracles but still there are many mothers who lack information on nourishment which is very essential for our society and children.
A handout stated that our Prime Minister started this mission on October 20, 2018.
In this play certain experts and advisors were invited to explain the importance of ‘Mission Poshan’ and they said that focus of the Mission is to lay emphasis on nutrition status of adolescent girls, pregnant women, lactating mothers and children.
The Mission intends to make fight against malnutrition a national goal for each citizen and its main purpose is to provide adequate nutrition to infants, pregnant ladies and mothers.
The experts also informed that mother’s milk is the best source of nourishment for the lactating child.
Actors who performed in the play were Sheetal, Raj, Arjun, Shahid, Raju Mad, Sonu, Rajat, Happy and Vijay Malla.
