REASI, June 29: While celebrating International Anti-Drugs Day-2023, Sangam Theatre Group here today staged Dogri Nukkad Natak ‘Nasha Mukti’ at Bus Stand Reasi and Zanana Park Reasi during a function organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
The play highlighted the dangers involved in drugs consumption and in its trade and warned about the outcomes of consuming intoxicants.
Locals including youngsters witnessed the show in large numbers.
Artist who performed in the Nukkad Natak were Varun Khajuria, Akram Khan, Rajesh Kumar Ajnabi, Shipali Deol, Raja Aamir Khan, Satyam Sharma, Simran Devi, Abhishek Singh, Ajay Thakur and Abhi Bali.
The play was staged under the direction by M. Akram Khan.
While performing in the Nukkad Natak, the actors presented different situations where the menace of drugs has consumed lives of its takers and its traders also.
They conveyed that the only way to escape from it is to stay away from it and to ask others also to do the same.
