RAMBAN, Sept 16: Nukkad Natak ‘Vote Kareingey Hum, Vote Kareingey Sab’ was staged here today by Sangam Theatre Group, Reasi at Main Market Raj Garh, Bus Stand Gool, Bus Stand Khari, Park Matra and Main Bazaar Ramban under a programme organized by District Administration Ramban and supported by Chief Electoral Officer, J&K.
At Gool, Harjit Singh, Tehsildar Gool, was chief guest while other officers, school children, locals, senior citizens and general public witnessed the Nukkad Natak.
The Natak was based on young voters’ electoral registration and election promotions.
Artist stressed on new voters who have attained the age of 18 years to enrol themselves as voters to cast votes in fair and ethical manner in the upcoming elections.
Characters in the play highlighted the message ‘Vote Kareingey Hum, Vote Kareingey Sab…..Vote Daalna Haq Hai Sabka aur Hamari Shaan Hai’.
The actors who performed in the Nukkad Natak were Varsha Kumari, Nidhi Singh Thakur, Tanvi Sharma, Shakir Abrar, Himanshu Darshan, Mohd Akram Khan and Raja Aamir Khan.
The play was written & directed by M Akram Khan.
