Number of schemes launched in 9 yrs of Modi Govt: BJP

JAMMU, June 12: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Sat Sharma has said that during the last nine years, the poor and the needy people across the country have been given numerous schemes to improve their socio-economic status.
Addressing a large gathering of beneficiaries of schemes started by PM Modi, the BJP leader said that no other Government in the past was so serious about the betterment of people belonging to poor and marginalized sections.
He said that history will stand witness to the fact that India under PM Modi touched new heights in development.
Sat Sharma along with BJP leaders Shamsher Singh Manhas; Bharat Bhushan, DDC Chairman and Ex-MLA, Shiv Dev Singh interacted with beneficiaries who availed benefits of government schemes started by PM Modi.
These beneficiaries had come from Janipur, Paloura-Muthi, Raipur-Domana, Mathwar and Gharota Mandals falling in Jammu North Assembly constituency.
In his address, former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas said, although nine years is not a long time but the list of welfare schemes during the period under PM Modi is very long.
DDC Chairman, Bharat Bhushan said that elected representatives of BJP are putting-in their best efforts in their respective areas to help people get benefits of welfare schemes.
Ex-MLA Shiv Dev Singh also spoke on the occasion. Omi Khajuria gave vote of thanks.
The beneficiary Sammelan was also attended by BJP leaders Karan Singh, Vinay Gupta, Praduman Singh, Ashish Sharma, Ajay Sharma and others.
