Numerous problems during Hajj

The annual Hajj pilgrimage for pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir has been plagued by various problems, including a lack of knowledgeable guides to assist them. One of the main grievances raised by the pilgrims is the absence of proper training provided before their departure. This lack of preparation has resulted in immediate issues for the pilgrims as soon as they board their flights. The Hajj pilgrimage faced significant challenges, including a lack of accommodation, insufficient food, and inadequate toilet facilities. These issues resulted in great inconvenience for the pilgrims. Furthermore, the pilgrims were not adequately informed about the time schedules, leading to further confusion and difficulties. The absence of guides and clear contact points left the Hajis to manage on their own, exacerbating the situation. These factors contributed to a sense of helplessness and frustration among the pilgrims. The authorities must get these issues addressed by improving the provision of accommodation, food, and toilet facilities, as well as ensuring clear communication channels and guidance for the pilgrims at appropriate level. By doing so, they can provide a more organised and supportive environment for the pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Hajj pilgrimage presents several challenges, and one of the main issues is the lack of a well-planned daily schedule that must be strictly followed. It is important to recognise that Hajj attracts a massive influx of people, and limited facilities are available due to the local terrain and policies. Every pilgrim is expected to adhere to the rules and complete the Hajj within the allocated time frame. The presence of language barriers and pilgrims from diverse countries further adds complexity to the situation. Gathering feedback from returning pilgrims is crucial, and the Government should establish a mechanism to ensure a comfortable and trouble-free Hajj experience for future participants. By addressing the concerns raised by the pilgrims and implementing improvements based on their feedback, the HCI can work towards enhancing the overall experience of the pilgrimage.
