JAMMU, July 2: ‘Snehil’, a Dehradun based organization online organized International Art Exhibition ‘Celebr-ations of Life’.
The art works of 65 artists from different parts of the country and also from US, Bangladesh, Maldives, France and Australia was displayed in the exhibition.
According to Dr. Mamta Singh, President of ‘Snehil’, the exhibition was an attempt to keep away the stress, depression and anxiety during the period of COVID-19.
Artists Dr. N.L Verma, Dr. R.C Bhavsar, Carol Carter, Prof. Pranam Singh, Prof. Pushpa Dullar were honoured with International Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition to their art achievements.
Dr. Sunil Vishav-karma, Hiramath, O P Sharma, Ramesh Bhodale and Ashok Gupta were honoured with International Excellence Award for their contributions in the field of art.
Convener of the exhibition, Prof. Alok Bhavsar expressed his views on the exhibition whereas Kundalaya Hiramath, a well known artist from Pune gave a live demonstration on water colour painting.
