SAMBA, Feb 9: Oakland Bottlers collaborated with Those Good Distillers and local authorities to introduce a new rum brand “Idaaya” in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
This unique spirit is a blend of premium rums from Latin America, aged for 12 years, and Indian molasses spirit, reflecting a fusion of international excellence and Indian heritage.
The creation of Idaaya involved a meticulous selection process, starting with the choice of renowned 12-year-old rum from Latin America known for its depth and complexity. This base rum was then combined with carefully selected Indian molasses spirit to produce a luxurious and distinctive blend.
The production process of Idaaya incorporates elements of both Spanish Solera system and traditional Indian extraction techniques, resulting in a rum with a truly unique character and exceptional quality.
The launch event of Idaaya was attended by key officials including Excise Commissioner J&K, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Deputy Excise Commissioner Distilleries, Ramkesh Sharma, and Chemist Rakesh Bali, held at Oakland Bottlers Samba.
