Oath administered to advocates

JAMMU, Apr 3: Jammu and Kashmir State Judicial Academy today organized oath ceremony for newly enrolled Advocates of Jammu province.
Proceedings were conducted by Abdul Rashid Malik, Director, J&K State Judicial Academy who welcomed Justice Alok Aradhe, Chairman, J&K State Judicial Academy, Justice, Janak Raj Kotwal, Member, J&K State Judicial Academy and newly enrolled Advocates and deliberated on the need for oath ceremony and lecture on professional ethics and conduct for the Advocates.
Addressing the Advocates, Malik said, this event will surely guide the young lawyers towards high constitutional values and service to the society as a lawyer has a critical role in ensuring access to justice to the poor and marginalised sections of the society.
The oath was administered by Justice Alok Aradhe, in the presence of Justice, Janak Raj Kotwal followed by distribution of certificates amongst newly enrolled Advocates.
