OBC institutions work utterly directionless: AIBCU

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Nov 24: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has termed the working of OBC institutions in the State as directionless and without any concrete results in favour of State OBCs for the past 22 years.
The speakers while speaking in a meeting of the Union here today pointed out that in State Commission for Backward Classes, which was set up in 1995 under the specific directions of the Apex Court after its judgement on Mandal Report, no chairman from amongst the OBCs has been appointed till date and its members are appointed with mutual understanding of the coalition partners to block the wheels of justice to OBCs of the State.
Similarly, State Advisory and Development Board was set up in 2010 with an aim to ameliorate the sufferings of the State OBCs called OSCs but the Board could not proceed ahead except its two meetings in the past about four years and is utterly in a defunct position, the speakers lamented.
The speakers appealed all the OBCs including those who had been working in different political parties, to shun such parties, which were working against the State OBCs and come under one umbrella of AIBCU, the only organization working honestly for the righteous cause of the State OBCs.
