OBCs deprived of rights: AIBCU

Excelsior Correspondent

JAMMU, Oct 2: All India Backward Classes Union has alleged that OBCs in J&K have been deprived of their rights.
A meet of AIBCU was held at Arnia town of Bishnah constituency  the other day under the  leadership of  Assembly constituency president Chaman Lal Gandhi  in which JKRCEA president Yoginder Pal was the chief guest. The speakers and participants showed their resentment on the denial of their constitutional rights  even after the abrogation of Art 370.
They said stance of the BJP Govt against OBCs in the country in general and in J&K in particular shows that PM has no concern for the OBC category. PM used  his OBC category only to dodge  these people in the country whose population as per Mandal report was above fifty percent.
Continuous efforts are  still being made by BJP to stop the OBC census that is why BJP time and again goes to Supreme Court and a fresh affidavit  is submitted there.
It was appealed  to OBC, SC and ST categories during meeting to cast the vote under the principle, ‘vote for themselves’, vote for their children and vote for their generations’.
Gurmeet Singh, Raj Kumar, Jeet Kumar,  Vijay Salgotra, Kali Dass and Yoginder Pal also addressed the gathering.
