JAMMU, May 15: From the past experience when all political parties were not in favour of the constitution and constitutional rights of the common masses then it was very strange that even then the so called OBC leaders were doing hard work with sweat of their brow for their political heads for nothing.
This was one of the thoughts that aired in a telephonic meeting of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU), today.
“Even pet animals do not tolerate their masters if the masters do not care their pets. What has happened to these so called OBC leaders who continued with their respective political parties like Congress, National Conference, PDP and now BJP who have looted the rights of the poor,” Union said.
And even then posed themselves as the God fearing.
The Union further said that Congress has looted the rights of the socially and educationally backward classes since independence, while other regional parties like NC and PDP which ruled the J&K State either independently or with Congress alliance too neither implemented Indian Constitution nor the State’s Constitution.
“When BJP kept Narendra Modi as an OBC Prime Ministerial candidate in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, his first Lalkaar Rally was at MA Stadium Jammu on 1st of December 2013 and second Rally on 26th of March at Hiranagar, where he made promise for implementing Mandal Report in J&K state. But so far nothing concrete with regard to establishment, betterment of OBCs is visible under the present rule also,” the Union maintained.
The Union said, “So all the members of socially and educationally backward classes should take it granted that no political party is in favour of OBCs constitutional rights.”
The meeting was attended by all the executive members of the Union including Rakesh Kumar, Gurmeet Singh, Principal Darshan Mehra, Principal Anchal singh, S D Malhotra, Khursheed Ahmed Ahanger, Mohd Akbar Ahanger, Mohd Rashid Fouji, Pawan Mehra, Om Parkash Sarpanch, Rakesh Verma, Dalvinder Singh and MR Bangotra, retired CEO and General Secretary of the Union.
