NEW DELHI: The National Green Tribunal on Saturday allowed the Delhi Government to roll out the ‘controversial’ Odd-Even scheme on Delhi roads, from November 13 to 17, to ease the air pollution situation. Resuming the hearing in the case, the green court pulled up the Delhi Government for not taking any concrete action and allowing the pollution to reach dangerously high levels.
NGT directed all the neighbouring State Governments and departments to ensure complete mechanism during the environmental emergency, saying do not wait for the crisis situation.
It also ordered various departments and executing agencies for better cooperation and coordination, including Delhi Police. (AGENCIES)
