BHUBANESWAR: Odisha government would provide ten high powered big trailer pumps to flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir to pump out the flood water.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today issued an order in this regard.
Official sources here said each trailer pump has the capacity to pump out 2000 litre of water per minute. Along with the pumps as many as 20 fire brigade officials will also move to Jammu and Kashmir to help the Jammu and Kashmir government in its relief and restoration measures. Earlier, Mr Patnaik had announced a relief assistance of Rs 5 crore for Jammu and Kashmir.
