JAMMU, Nov 13: Police seized offensive, suspicious material and two wheelers during raid in the house of a notorious drug peddler.
As per police sources, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and assisted by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma, SHO Arnia Inspector Deepak Katoch, SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq and SHO RS Pura Inspector Pawan Kumar carried out raid at the residence of a Gulzar Ahmed alias Lahu, son of Bashir of Chak Waziroo Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu in connection with the case to probe the “emerging nexus” of drug smuggling.
During the raid, police team checked the house of above-mentioned notorious criminal. The offensive/suspicious material and two wheelers found in his house and were seized accordingly.
However, on seeing the cops, the alleged drug peddler managed to escape from the spot.
