Officers associations of JU, KU hold joint meeting

JAMMU, Jan 29: A joint meeting of Kashmir University Officers Association and Jammu University Officers Welfare Association was held here today at JU for coordination between the associations for resolving the long pending matters of the officers of both the universities.
The officers discussed the implications of delay in the implementation of the career advancement scheme which is currently pending in the office of Financial Advisor, Universities for his opinion. Some other issues pertaining to the welfare of the officers were also discussed.
Later on, the officers also called on JU Vice Chancellor Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar. Both the presidents extended their full support and co-operation to the Vice Chancellors Prof Ishar informed the members that already head way has been made in the case of CAS and assured them that the scheme for career advancement for university officers will be a reality soon.
