JAMMU, Apr 1: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) organized a campus recruitment event for IMS and YCET students.
Airtel Black, Teleperformance, Majorel, Flipkart and Zomato were recipients of the placement drive hosted by Shining Star IT Pvt Ltd.
In first round of the drive, a total of 48 students were selected as finalists. After a lengthy selection procedure that involved group discussions, individual interviews, typing tests etc, a total of 15 students were chosen, of which seven were from IMS and eight from YCET.
Many officials from the company and YCET were involved in successful placement drive.
“Our career counseling programmes which are also a part of our College’s Social Responsibility lay special emphasis on empowering these students by imparting industry-ready skills, which enable them to get good placements in the on-campus drives,” a handout of YCET stated.
Dev Chinmay, Vice President Shinning Stars; Kiran Yadav, Manager Shinning Star; Kaushik Kumar, HR Starteck and Punit Kumar, Senior HR, Shining Star hailed the efforts put by the College in nurturing and exploring young minds for a better tomorrow.
Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), Jammu Chairman, Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal; Vice-Chairman, Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal; Managing Director, Renu Bangroo; Director YCET, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rana and Chief Coordinator YCET, B.R Verma congratulated the selected students.
The placement drive was coordinated by the HOD’s, Training and Placement Coordinators of different departments and ATPO, Manjula Sharma whereas the Placement Drive was organized by Dinesh Gupta, Head, Training and Placement Cell of YCET.
