JAMMU, Mar 5: Police today arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) of the militants and recovered ammunition and explosives from his possession in Mahore area of Reasi district.
Arrested OGW has been identified as 21-year-old Reyaz Ahmad son of Nazir Ahmad of Kundedhan in Chassana area of Mahore.
On his disclosures, police destroyed a hideout of the militants between Makhidhar and Upper Shikari ridge in Mahore and recovered two UBGL/MGL grenades, one Chinese grenade, two HE 36 grenades, three Mor bombs, two kg gun powder, 250 grams explosive, 30 Insas rounds, 20 sniper rounds and 30 AK rounds.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Additional SP Reasi Surjeet Kumar Bhagat.
