This has reference to the thought letter by Rakesh Sharma (Retd. Asstt. Director). The future of old people in Jammu is not good of trend if reservations and unemployment for well read youths continue in Jammu. Unemployed youth are not to be blamed for venturing out as Government and private sector are not in a position to provide job opportunities.
A dangerous trend has prevailed due to above reasons and every affected person by it should think about it and find ways and means so that something is done for old people. The Government be it State or Centre is requested to look into reservations issue without any bias and without vote bank politics.
In these circumstances, it has become necessary that old age homes are constructed in the State to accommodate people who are at the fag end of their life.
