JAMMU, Aug 23: An old man died due to electric shock in Kot Bhalwal area here, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Ram Lal (74), son of Jethu Ram of Kot Bhalwal District Jammu. He received electric shock while working in his field near his house and was rushed to SDH Kot Bhalwal.
He was later referred to Government medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where he died.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Gharota Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
