JAMMU, Dec 14: An old man was killed today in a road mishap in Domana area of city outskirts.
“Lekh Raj Kotwal (73) son of Aaya Ram, resident of Marh, was hit and seriously injured this evening by a speeding bike at Nagbani Morh in Domana area,” a police official said, adding, the bike rider namely Amit son of Bharat Bhushan, resident of Nagbani, also injured in the mishap.
He said both the injured were immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where the old man was declared as brought dead by the doctors whereas Amit was responding to the treatment.
“The body was sent for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana,” the official added.
