JAMMU, July 12: An old man, who was seriously injured in a road mishap at Dayalachak area of Kathua district, today succumbed to his injuries in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
The man has been identified as Shanga Ram (65) son of Raseela Ram, a resident of Hiranagar. He was hit and injured yesterday by a motorcycle near Forest check post in Dayalachak area, when he was travelling on his bicycle. The victim expired this morning at about 11 am.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing medico-legal formalities. The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
