JAMMU, Mar 19: An old rusted grenade was recovered and destroyed in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Khour Police Station.
As per police sources, an information was received by Police Station Khour regarding recovery of old rusted grenade in wheat field in Panyali village.
On getting information, a police team led by SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma and accompanied by SHO Khour Inspector AP Singh rushed to the spot.
The grenade was later destroyed by the bomb disposal squad of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Cognizance in this regards stands taken by Khour Police.
