SRINAGAR, Nov 25: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah departed for Saudi Arabia today to perform Umrah.

Earlier, Abdullah had shared the news on the microblogging platform X, stating, “Alhamdulillah, political clearance has come. I will be traveling to Saudi Arabia on Monday to perform Umrah and offer prayers at Al Masjid an Nabawi (SAW) in Medina.”
Omar had performed Umrah earlier this year also, accompanied by his father, Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference.
