Omar targets CM on schools

SRINAGAR, Dec 15: Upping the ante at Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti over delay in the process for reconstruction of flood-damaged schools, National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah said the floods were in 2014 and the reconstruction is starting at the end of 2017.
That, he said, is what is wrong with the Mehbooba Mufti administration. “For a bit of context – the floods were in 2014 & the ‘process for reconstruction’ is starting at the end of 2017. That’s what’s wrong with the Mufti Administration,” Abdullah, who is the former Chief Minister of the State, tweeted.
Abdullah was reacting to reports that the School Education Department has initiated the process for reconstruction of school buildings that were damaged during 2014 floods.
