SRINAGAR, June 1: In a surprise visit to G. B. Pant Hospital this morning, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah inspected new initiatives put in place by the Government to improve the functioning of the hospital and upgrade its delivery.
Omar Abdullah received the status of the improvement and directed for showing visible results in the performance and service delivery front by the hospital to the satisfaction of the general public.
The Chief Minister interacted with hospital management, para-medical staff and the parents of the children under treatment in the hospital. He said Government is vigorously endeavouring to improve the functioning of the hospitals in the State and in this direction special attention has been focused.
