On first Navratra, Natrang stages ‘Mata Ki Kahani’

KATRA, Oct 7: ‘Mata Ki Kahani’, a musical theatre extravaganza produced by Natrang was today staged at Navratra Festival-2021 here and it attracted a big audience.
The shows of ‘Mata Ki Kahani’ were showcased under the aegis of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and Directorate of Tourism, Jammu at Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra.
On this occasion, Abhishek Sharma, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Katra was the chief guest and he lauded the efforts made by Natrang.
Conceptualized, designed and directed by Padmashree Balwant Thakur, ‘Mata Ki Kahani’ is based on tracks with songs, narratives, dramatic sequences, stylized movements and spectacular visual compositions.
This mega-musical theatre presentation has created a history for being the first theatrical show based on the legend of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.
Over 50 accomplished artists are being featured in this mega theatrical show which unfolds the entire story of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi in just one hour.
Famous film personalities including Mukesh Khanna and Rakesh Bedi have rendered their voice to this magnificent production.
The artists who performed in the presentation were Anil Tickoo, Neeraj Kant, Surinder Manhas, Virji Sumbly, Mohammad Yaseen, Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Meenakshi Bhagat, Manoj Lalotra, Abhinav Sharma, Gopi Sharma, Sushant Singh Charak, Mahikshit Singh, Parth Magotra, Vrinda Sharma, Bhawani Singh Bali, Kuldeep Kumar, Zeeshan Haider, Mohd Umar, Aadesh Dhar, Ajay Lalotra, Sagar Gupta, Tanmaya Mahajan, Gautam Sharma, Sheetal Jadhan, Prohitdeep Singh, Kananpreet Kaur, Diksha Pandita, Pooja Devi, Monika Devi, Nidhi Jasrotia, Natasha Jamwal, Sonali Mandal, Sonali Mahindru, Deepika Bala, Meenu Kumari, Karishma, Muskan Chib, Himani Puri, Sonali Sharma, Kushal Bhat and Rakshit Arora.
