SRINAGAR : A yatri died due to heart attack on way to holy Amarnath cave shrine, taking the toll to 16 since the commencement of the two-month-long pilgrimage from June 28.
Yatra officials said the pilgrim identified as Dharam Raj (56), resident of Maharashtra, suffered a massive heart attack at Panchtarni on traditional route. He was immediately rushed to medical camp where he was declared brought dead.
