SAMBA, Apr 20: Ghagwal Police arrested one person and recovered 24 bottles of Blue Bull Rum each of 750 ml from his possession which is an anti intoxicated liquor.
According to reports a team of Ghagwal Police in close coordination with District Special Branch (DSB), Samba laid a naka in Jatwal area and intercepted one person namely Joginder Paul S/o Gian Chand of Ghanda, R S Pura presently at Brian Samba.
Police said during his frisking 24 bottles of rum were recovered from him. He was arrested and the liquor was seized.
The police has also registered a Case FIR No 66/2018 U/S 48-A Excise Act at P/S Ghagwal and has started investigation in the matter.
