KATHUA, Mar 17: One person was arrested by Kathua Police for carrying heroin during a routine naka checking at Lakhanpur near new Ravi bridge.
The police during the checking intercepted one motor cycle bearing Registration No JK08A-7064 coming from Punjab towards Lakhanpur at naka point near Ravi bridge.
He was identified as Vijay Kumar son of Krishan Chand R/o W.No. 2 Kathua and was riding on the motor cycle .During his personal search 1.5 gm Heroine recovered from their possession .A case FIR NO.26/2016 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered and accused has been arrested and investigation going on. The operation was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kathua.
