JAMMU, Apr 1: One person has been arrested along with ganja from Rajeev Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bahu Fort police station.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team laid a naka at Rajeev Nagar and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 5 kilograms ganja from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Gore Lal, son of Lakshman Prasad, a resident of Chhattisgarh, at present Narwal.
A case under FIR Number 59/16 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bahu Fort police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort police station Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria and Incharge Narwal police post SI Mehmood Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
